Why is prayer important?
Operation Exodus is an intercessory team ministry with a prophetic task, partnering with God to bring the Jewish people home to Israel. "Hear the word of the LORD O Nations, proclaim it in distant coastlands. He who scattered Israel will re-gather them, and will watch over His flock like a shepherd." Jeremiah 31:10
To this end there are battles to be fought in both the natural and spiritual realms, and thus the ongoing prayer support of our prayer partners in Canada and around the world is essential. Bi-monthly prayer alerts are distributed to all prayer partners, and other timely updates are provided as situations arise. "The One who has called you is faithful, and He will do it.".
CONNECTING WITH GOD’S HEART IN PRAYER
Prayer and Intercession is at the heart of Operation Exodus Canada; God does not do anything without prayer.“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5: 16b
God is fulfilling this prophetic Word in our day to restore Israel to their Land according to His covenant promise. “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" Numbers 23:19
BIBLICAL PROPHECY - Israel is being called out of the nations and back home to their Land as God has promised. This is a modern day Exodus, just as God brought His people out of Egypt. Now he is bringing them out of all the nations of the world, bringing Glory to His Name. "Therefore say “Thus says the Lord God: I will gather you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the Land of Israel.” Ezekiel 11:17
